Join The Friends of Swanage Pier
Swanage Pier is an essential part of our Town's unique Victorian flavour.It has given pleasure to generations of holiday makers.
It is also an important centre for Sub-Aqua activities, angling and water sports and provides regular boat services to Bournemouth, Poole and the Isle of Wight during the holiday season.
The Pier attracts over 100,000 visitors each year.The Swanage Pier Trust took control of the Pier Company during 1994 with the aim of restoring and maintaining it for the benefit of all. Following the essential repairs and restoration work which cost over £1,000,000, we still need £100,000 income per year for running and maintaining the Pier.
The Friends of Swanage Pier assist with this income, fund raising and with annual membership. We therefore invite you to join the FRIENDS of SWANAGE PIER.
An annual subscription of a minimum of £6, or £60 for 'Life' membership, will entitle you to free strolling on the Pier as well as Newsletters bringing you up to date with the restoration work, details of Pier news and other Pier related events.
If you would like to make a larger donation please indicate this below. Whatever you decide, we shall be most grateful for your help. Annual subscriptions run from April to end March.
